A Federally funded project called the Yarra Valley eLearning Community (YVeLC) that ran from 2005 to 2008, established the beginnings of cooperation between six Yarra Valley government schools.
In 2013 teachers of VCE subjects began to meet to provide mutual support and the sharing of curriculum with the goal of improving VCE student outcomes. In 2015 the project began to expand with a working party investigating how best to meet the needs of potentially high achieving students, again through the sharing of curriculum. With that in mind a series of Challenges were created and made available online.
